High-Functioning & Postpartum Anxiety Therapy in East Longmeadow, MA
Serving Clients Virtually Across Massachusetts
If you're an anxious mom in East Longmeadow constantly feeling on edge, you already know what it feels like to need to do everything right and look like you have it all together… while internally, you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and questioning everything.
On the outside you look like you’re handling it..on the inside you’re one more request away from breaking down in tears
Modern motherhood today has mothers believing that if you can’t do it all, then you’re failing. And so, you try your best to mother like you don’t have a career, and to work like you don’t have children. An impossible task that you will never succeed in and yet continue to strive for.
As a mother today, your expected to do everything the “right” way, but whatever you choose; it’s wrong.
SAHM? Your kids need socialization.
Working mom?Someone else is raising your kids.
You’re are always on. Over time you’ve learned that your rest must be earned and that your worth is dependent on your performance.
Even when you’re so desperate for sleep, your brain never fully relaxes out of fear the baby needs you.
There's a constant knot in your stomach as you imagine everything that could go wrong. Even walking down the stairs or getting out of the house feels like a death trap.
Your brain never shuts off, no matter how much you do, you tell yourself you did something wrong or that you’re not doing enough.
And while you quietly suffer inside, all anyone sees is that you 'handle it so well', so not only do you NOT get the help you desperately need, but now you feel even more pressure to keep it all together
It’s time to drop the “I can handle this all on my own” Narrative
No more needing to prove to everyone you can handle it all when it's secretly coming at the expense of your own well-being
Together, we'll get rid of the over-functioning, and the guilt that shows up the second you stop.
We'll learn to manage the worrisome pictures that form a knot in your stomach, telling you something is going to hurt your baby.
We'll build your confidence from the inside out, instead of tying your self-worth to your productivity and prove you need to do it all.
And I know what you're thinking...
“If I stop over-functioning, nothing will ever get done, my life will fall apart".
But here's what you don't see; the subtle ways your and your family’s well-being is breaking down day by day.
Rest is no longer rest. When you finally sit down, the kids are asleep, the dishes are done, nothing is on fire... instead of resting, your brain starts doing inventory: "Did I forget to reply to that email? Is the permission slip signed? His teacher sounded short with me today, did I do something wrong?"
Or maybe you're in the thick of those early months of motherhood, when your baby finally falls asleep... but you can't. You're checking the monitor for the tenth time, googling whether that sound they made is normal, replaying how much they ate that day, or lying awake imagining all the things that could go wrong.
It feels like the weight of the world is solely on your shoulders. You're drowning, and you still won't say it out loud because asking for help feels like admitting to a crime. So you white-knuckle it alone, and the "having it together" that everyone sees costs you your sleep, your peace, and most importantly, yourself.
The version of motherhood where you feel calm, connected and thriving awaits and I'm here to help you get there
You wake up already feeling grounded, like today is yours before it even starts
You can sit through the tenth "mama, watch this" and feel fully there, soaking it in instead of jumping out of your seat in rage.
You can ask for help and know that you didn’t fail
Rest doesn't feel like something you have to earn
I’m ready and waiting to join your village and help get you there, together.

Build real confidence and belief in yourself
Reconnect with the relationships and routines that actually support your needs
A snippet into what we can accomplish
That voice in your head telling you that you have to do it all perfectly or everything will fall apart? It’s lying to you. Letting go of constant pressure starts with exploring your worries and fears and where it developed. Realizing these panic-fueled "facts" in your mind aren’t actually true are what dramatically shifts your every day life.
An anxious brain thrives in routine and certainty. We’ll shift, change routine, and repetitive habits to show your mind that it’s actually safe to slow down, breathe, and trust yourself rather than always living in defense mode.
Sometimes the goals change after becoming a mom and that’s terrifying and makes you question EVERYTHING. We'll lock into what you truly want go claim it.
Those negative thoughts in your head that you’re “not enough”? They might be your mind’s way of protecting you. By figuring out where those came and why they are there, we can use them to our advantage.

I offer both 45 minute sessions and 60 minute sessions

I ask that you give me at least 24 hours notice for cancellations and reschedules of any session. You will be responsible for the entire fee if the cancellation/reschedule is made with less than 24 hours notice.
