Therapy for Working Moms In Western Mass & Across Massachusetts
Personalized, practical therapy designed to help you heal, find peace, and thrive.
What To Expect With Me
I offer virtual therapy for women and busy mothers across Massachusetts who are navigating things like anxiety, postpartum, resentment, guilt, identity struggles, burnout, and the unique weight of raising a family without the "village" they imagined. Whether you are looking for consistent weekly support or a flexible monthly reset, I’m here for it. You’ll receive compassionate, personalized and practical evidence-based care that respects the reality of your schedule.
In our sessions, you can expect:
A Sanctuary from the Mental Load: This is the one space in your week where you aren't the manager, the provider, or the "fixer." It is a dedicated hour to put down the heavy weights of resentment and guilt.
A "Village-First" Approach: We don't ignore the fact that you’re doing this with limited backup or that the weight of parenthood is not shared equally. We work on practical skills to regulate your nervous system and load so that when plans fall apart or the support isn't there, you don't fall apart with them, you recreate them.
Personalized Planning of your “Village”: We not only identify it, but shifting the "default parent" dynamic in a way that is individualized to you. This will be a transformation in how you communicate and advocate for your own capacity. We will work on auditing the invisible labor in your home to create a more equitable distribution of the mental load while building the confidence to say "no" to draining expectations. By reclaiming your agency and shedding the "people-pleaser" skin, you’ll learn how to proactively engineer a support system and delegate tasks without the weight of guilt, ensuring your well-being is prioritized alongside your family’s. The result will be a deeper connection to not only yourself, but with your partner and children.
Validation Without Judgment: A safe space to admit that motherhood is hard, or isn’t how you pictured, and that you miss your life pre-mom. You will also be allowed to be ambitious in your career without feeling like a "part-time" parent. I’ve likely felt similar, trust me.
Tools for the "In-Between" Moments: You’ll walk away with insights and strategies you can actually use (for when your family bails day-of, for the 5 minutes you have before a meeting, or during the chaotic bedtime routine) to stay grounded and confident.
No two seasons of motherhood are the same. That’s why our work is personalized to your values and your current capacity. We focus on building deeper insight and lasting confidence, so you can stop just "getting through the day" and start feeling like the woman you were always meant to be and envisioned.
Individual Therapy for the Modern Mother
Weekly, biweekly, monthly, or even intensive sessions designed to help you reduce anxiety, heal from burnout, and finally feel like yourself again.
I provide a space where you can show up exactly as you are -whether that’s from the comfort of your home, during a lunch break at the office, or in the car pickup line before you grab the kids. Yes, even at 9pm at night, so you don’t miss bedtime. No childcare? No problem! Bring baby to our session!
I understand that when you don't feel like you have a village, your presence and time is your most precious resource, so we make your therapy work for your real life, not the other way around.
My Integrative Approach
I use a blend of evidence-based tools, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailored specifically to your individual experience. We won’t just talk about the stress; we will work to:
Interrupt Intrusive Thoughts: Quiet the "inner critic" that tells you you’re failing at home, not doing enough, or falling behind at work.
Regulate the "Solo-Parent" Nervous System: Build the emotional steadiness you need to handle the chaos when you're the only one on call or when you don’t have that “tap-out” that you need.
Break Old Patterns: Identify the habits- people-pleasing, perfectionism, or high-functioning anxiety-that are keeping you stuck in a cycle of depletion.
Is this right for you? Individual therapy is ideal if you are looking for a dedicated partner in your "village." It is for the mother who is tired of just "coping" and is ready to make real, lasting changes. Together, we’ll move past the "shoulds" and the guilt, building a foundation of confidence and peace that stays with you long after our session ends.
Out-of-Network Care: Why It Matters
(And Why It’s Worth It Too)
Direct, Private, and Specialized Support for Your Real Life.
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I work for you, not an insurance company. While the traditional insurance model works for some, many of the high-achieving mothers I work with prefer this model for the freedom, privacy, and specialized focus it provides.
Why This Model Works for the "No-Village" Mom:
More Personalized, High-Quality Care: Insurance companies often dictate how many sessions you can have or what we are "allowed" to talk about. As an OON provider, our work is shaped by your goals and your pace and not by a checklist or diagnosis. We focus on what truly matters: your identity, your resentment, and the mental load of doing it all.
Your Privacy is Paramount: When using insurance, a mental health diagnosis becomes a permanent part of your medical record. Many of the professionals I work with, lawyers, doctors, and entrepreneurs, choose out-of-network care for this added layer of total confidentiality.
Expertise You Can’t Find on a "Panel": Finding a therapist who truly understands the intersection of high-functioning anxiety and the "missing village" is rare. This model ensures you receive specialized care from someone who actually "gets it," rather than whoever happens to be on a local list.
No "Red Tape" or Waitlists: You don't have to wait for an insurance company to "authorize" your healing. We start when you are ready.
How to Still Use Your Benefits: You may be able to receive significant reimbursement for our sessions. Here is how to navigate it without adding more stress to your plate:
Check Your Out-of-Network Benefits: Call your provider and ask: “What is my reimbursement rate for out-of-network mental health services with an LMHC?”
Request a "Superbill": At the end of each month, I will provide you with a detailed receipt (a Superbill).
Submit & Get Paid: You simply upload that document to your insurance portal. Many clients receive a check for 50–80% of the session cost back in their pockets.
Use Your HSA/FSA: You can use your pre-tax Health Savings or Flexible Spending Account funds to pay for sessions directly.
You can check your OON Benefits with the Pop-Up Button on right of this page for your convenience! I will reach out to you with your information when received and let you know of your benefits.
You don’t have to choose between quality and affordability. You can have both.
